Product description and working principle

Flameless Venting Device produced by Dragon Industries can accomplish the indoor explosion venting effect without flame spreading, dust spreading and has superior technical performance. It is mainly composed of an explosion venting panel, flame filter, safety flange for fixing explosion venting panel and signal sensor. It is mainly used at protecting indoor dust-containing equipment such as dust collectors, cyclones, silos, bins, hoppers, mixers, dryers, even transport equipment such as belt/screw conveyors and bucket elevators.

The explosion venting panel is closed during normal operation; when a dust explosion occurs, the explosion overpressure acts on the explosion venting panel which will be opened and allows discharged explosion pressure and flames to be released into the flame filter. Flames are extinguished due to the quenching effect of the flame filter which plays the role of dust retain, pressure relief, fire extinguisher and heat cooling. Flameless Venting Device completely eliminates the need for the costlier explosion ducting vent system.
